This patio door frame was previously repaired by a local handyman. The perimeter caulking looks to be just smeared on and not tooled in, making a uniform coved bead. This frame track shows several gaps between the frame and the stucco. This is where rain water leaks under the the door frame and into your home.
The sealant that is meant to seal the installation screw anchors, look to be splopted onto the screw head. Just applying silicone over the screw head is just a band-aid or a quick fix. The correct way is to back the anchor out, clean the surrounding area of the sliding door frame track with solvent, then inject a special sealant called ” small gap filler” or Acryl-R. The anchor will be sealed completely on the underside to the frame. Once the anchor is screwed back in to the frame, a small amount of this sealant is applied around the top of the screw head. This is to make sure that it is sealed and repaired properly.
